The location has been set! And so has the date!

So you better start searching for airfare deals!

We're on the move!

We figured we'd get all of the major life changes out of the way at once! So we got married and about a month later bought a house! We will be moving in January 22, 2007. Our new home puts us in the 11th ave and Greenway area. More information and address to follow via snail mail :)

A Zimmermann addition

I received a phone call late last night. This is how it went: "I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!" My little sister is getting married and I couldn't be happier for her. I don't know any details of a date or location but I'll be sure to spread the gossip as soon as I know it. Here are a few pictures of her beautiful ring.

The Arizona Biltmore

We spent our wedding night at The Arizona Biltmore. It was fun to stay in such a nice place. We arrived around 11:30. After five hours of dancing we were hungry. So we ordered $30 hamburgers and club sandwiches. You only do it once right?

Katie and Michelle broke into our room and had rose petals everywhere! It made it fun to walk into our newlywed room!

This picture was taken on Sunday before we left the Biltmore to go to my moms house for brunch.
The happy couple!

A few last pictures...

We bought a wooden bowl from this local artist. Here is is engraving it for us.

There aren't many cars in Belize. The local mode of transportation is by golf cart.

We spent a few nights in ordering pizza and playing Jenga.

Just an outing for lunch. Conch shells were everywhere from the beach to nearly all table tops.

Birds eye view

The view during the day was much different then just seeing the city lights at night.

We flew shotgun on Tropic Air

When we were flying home we took the little Tropic Air flight in the morning. We were the first ones on board so we basically flew shotgun. I was a little bit uneasy when I looked up and the pilot was looking down and writing in a notebook! But he got us there safe and sound.

We did get some of the two of us!

Ocean View

I don't think any of these need explanation. They are just beautiful.

People we met along the way

This is Siobhan, she is from Dublin. Her name is pronounced Shivon. We had a great time on 2 for 1 margarita night!

This is Mark, Siobhans husband.

This is the group we hung out with at the pool and went to dinner with. From the left: Anne, Rob, Siobhan, Mark, Ali and April. Ali and April are a couple we met from Chicago. They were married on November 4th as well.

Just another night on the town!

Would you travel with us?

Don't ever ask Rob to put on your sunscreen....you may end up like he did!

It's humid? Really I hadn't noticed.

This is what happens to your feet when you were leather flip flops in water. They were brown for the whole first week!

Crocodile Hunters

I just thought he was so cute with his red hat.

A man named Marcel from the hotel took us to a near by home that is right on the bay where seven crocodiles live. We were told by locals that there is a $10,000 fine for feeding them. We had no interest in getting that close!!

This one swam in as soon as he saw us coming.

These young school children were more adventurous in getting a closer look.

A view of the town

All of the school children have different uniforms. It was interesting to me that in such a casual town that they would have to wear them. The older girls nearing college wore white dresses. They looked like nursing students to me.

Some parts of town were nicer than others. This was our first outing and we were a little shocked by what we saw and how things smelled!

A lot of the homes were in stilts like this one.
