Who would have guessed we'd make it this far!

35.4 weeks
When we started this whole pre-term adventure I never thought we would make it this far! Luke and I continue to grow every day. I swear each day I feel so much bigger. Don't even get me started on what it takes to get out of bed! We have what may be our last OB appointment on Friday. The plan is to stop the terb pump at 36 weeks which is Saturday! So keep checking back as there may be a new addition to the Schneider family this weekend!!!

Gimp Update

Third time is a charm! Rob is home again from his third knee surgery and is doing great. The doctor repaired two quarter sized defects in his knee and seems to think this is it. Fingers crossed this will be the last knee operation for a while. Rob is recovering great and seems to have his pain under control. Which is a good thing with a baby on the way! Thanks to Linda for picking him up at the crack of dawn and sitting with him all day along with bringing him home the next day. It was so hard to not be there with Rob but it was comforting to know his mom was with him.

Things are coming together!

The crib is ready!
The changing table is almost ready.
My dresser from when I was little is ready for all those onesies!
Speaking of onesies....Nana washed tons of them!
And the glider is ready for rocking sweet Luke to sleep.

A growth update!

One more thing I forgot to mention! We had yet another ultrasound during our hospital stay. Luke's estimated weight is up to 5lbs 4ozs!!

Round Three

Oh me oh my we did it again!
Luke and I were admitted once again for pre-term labor. At least things aren't as scary when we go in. It's kinda like ok yeah go ahead start the Mag. Oh yeah sure hook me up to the walls with all you have, no biggie. Round three was pretty much a repeat of our other stays. We tried all the same things to slow my cranky uterus down and a few new things. Including morphine. I'm not sure what the hype is around morphine I never got too goofy and it only slightly helped with the pain. We were admitted once again in the middle of the night, on a Wednesday and were discharged (happily) on a Sunday. Our first few days at home were a little rough. A few mental breakdowns later and I think my spirits are back in check.
Rob recently affectionately said I can't wait until Luke comes and you are back to normal. I agreed and Rob followed with a high five and a tag your it "you get to do everything now!" I'll be so happy say six months from now when Luke is here and healthy and Rob is through with knee problems and I'm able to leave the house!
Other than the above things are moving right along. We recently received some fun baby gifts that really make it feel like we are getting closer to the finish line. We are now proud parents of a car seat and a stroller! Just looking at them some times gives me the motivation to make it through another day. Another exciting note to add, the Jackson crew is coming over Saturday to start painting Luke's new room! I can't wait to have the nursery all finished and ready for his big arrival! Keep checking back for pictures of our progress!
