Teething never looked so happy

Now that you have one tooth you must be working on another! All the drool and hand chomping tells us another is on the way. This is a picture of the first time you tried a teething biscuit. Daddy said you seemed to like it but that they made quite the mess! Not sure if they helped you feel better while teething today but it sure made for a cute picture.

All tuckered out

Such a busy day you had. It's cousin Wills third birthday tomorrow and you helped celebrate with him today at his birthday party! You and Daddy went along with Nana and Papa and several other kids. It looks like you must of had a great time because you feel asleep right in Nana's lap!

Ohhhh whats this?

Not five minutes before I just finished saying "No. He's really good about staying in whatever room you are in. I know Mom (Nana) he'll find the dog food some day. But he hasn't even noticed it yet!" That will teach me! That very day you went exploring all over the house. You went from room to room checking everything out including the dog dishes. With a handful of brown crunchies and another full of water Mommy asked Daddy if he could see you because I couldn't anymore. This picture is what we saw after we removed you from the area.

A future in computers...

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...

You are obsessed with computers! A day doesn't go by that you aren't pounding out an email on the laptop or looking into why Daddy's CD drive isn't working. You love all things computer. Luke you are a huge fan of the keyboard, mouse and web cam. You've even managed to search a web address. Now we just need to teach you to be a little softer with the keys...

Cousins

About once a week we head over to Aunt Suzanne's and Uncle Mikes house for dinner and fun. It's so fun to watch you and Baby Cate play. You share her toys so nicely and play together like old friends. At the end of the evening you shared a bath together. You were a bit of a bully in the tub! You bulldozed right over Cate to get to the drain. You're always trying to figure out how to let the water out. You loved the new toys to play with and the flashing ducks were a favorite of Mommies! I'm so happy that our family is so close that we can all watch you grow! How wonderful it is to share all of your accomplishments with friends and family.

The world is yours

You've gotten very adventurous now that you can move about and explore your surroundings. One of your favorite things to do is dive off of Mommys lap and lung towards your nightlight. You just can't wait to get your little hands on it. You also love to try and take a nose dive off the bed. I still can figure out what it is that you want so badly on the night stand but you are ever so persistant to try and get it! Another new favorite is Mommys old rocking horse. You love to eat his ears and pull on his tail. This morning you were especially interested in the horse. You crawled all the way across the room, got to your knees and still couldn't reach his ears so you just pulled yourself up! It was so fun to be there watching you explore your world and work so hard to get to what you wanted. Before we know it you'll be walking!

What a day we had!

Luke we had such a fun day listening to you giggle, watching you smile and seeing you give everyone hugs! You woke up so happy today. Mommy and Daddy can't help but consider ourselves blessed to wake up to you each and every day. We had our usual snuggle time in bed this morning and then you and Daddy headed off to Costco with Nana S. You came home and took a short nap in your crib and then another short nap in Mommy's arms. Then it was time for dinner! We sent Daddy off to the baseball game and dinner began. This was unlike any other dinner however. It's become a bit of a routine to check your gums for teeth these days. You've been drooling like mad and putting everything in your mouth since you were four months old. We just knew one day a tooth would appear. This time when I checked your gums there actually was a tooth! A perfect little sharp as a razor tooth peeking through your little pink gums. Your first tooth is your # 25 tooth, the bottom, middle right! Congrats!

Super Boy and his dog

We bought you this play mat because your cousin Adie had a similar one that we thought was pretty cool . Mommy however didn't read the entire description and it ended up being much smaller than we would have liked. None the less you seem to enjoy playing on it. That is when you actually stay on it! Sakai is never to far from you when you are in your highchair (waiting for it to rain puffs) or even playing on the floor. Many times he sneaks off with your toys but Mommy and Daddy manage to get them back for you without too much of a fight from Sakai. He is so interested in what you are doing and who you are. It's fun to watch you notice him each morning and give him a giggle. A few times you've been lucky enough to give him a pet and a tug on the tail!
