Our first stop was at Banyan Bay. Our room was more like home than a hotel. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo style place. We were lucky enough that Matt and Michelle went to Belize in April and suffered through a time share meeting to win us a week stay. It had all the comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen and satellite TV. This is the view from our balcony. It's a little blurry because it's so humid outside!
I have to say I wasn't the best travel companion the night we got in. Dressed in jeans and a hoodie sweatshirt walking off the plane into what felt like 90% humidity I was shocked that the weather wasn't more like San Diego! My initial reaction wasn't good and I was grumpy and wanted to go to sleep. Rob was a good sport with his new Princess Wife. By the time I had a good nights rest and a shower I was ready to go.
